JPPG Flea Market & Posting With Purpose: How to Create a Social Media Strategy

Leslie-Evans-headshot

Please join us on Tuesday, November 19th at 5:30pm for our Flea Market, then stay for some social media tips from Leslie Evans, CPP. Then are cordially invited to join us at Chili’s after the meeting!

Whether you use social media to promote your business, or share your images for the joy of photography, there are specific things you can do to gain more followers and encourage more engagement.

Do you wonder why your followers aren’t liking, commenting on and sharing your posts?  Part of the answer is hidden behind the scenes in social media algorithms. If all this is a Greek to you, then this program is for you! Leslie will take the mystery out of it and teach you how to get better engagement from your followers with content that people want to see.

Does the idea of posting regularly overwhelm you? Leslie will also share some strategies for creating, categorizing and posting content so you can get started right away. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

But Wait – There’s More!

It’s the JPPG Flea Market!

Come early for the program and enjoy the flea market or stay late after the flea market for the program. Either way works for us!

This is a “no charge” meeting. All are welcome, so invite a friend to come with you!

Several JPPG Members will have tables filled with gear… cameras, lenses, light stands, tripods, reflectors and all sorts of photo gear. Tables will be set up on one side of the room for selling your gear or buying someone else’s!

How do I reserve a Flea Market Table? I’m glad you asked! First, click on the button below and pay for your table, then gather your gear, take some photos and send them to communications@jppg.org. Next, we’ll post your photos on our JPPG Facebook page to help you sell it! Then on Tuesday the 19th, load up your gear and head on over to the Ramada after 4:30pm.

Reserve your Flea Market Table Here:

Our friendly JPPG Flea Market Team will have a 6’ table ready and waiting for you and your gear. Doors open to members and guests at 5:30pm. No advance sales. If your name is on our gear, please mark through it on the photo before sending.

How do I get my hands on some cool New-to-Me Gear? I’m glad you asked! First, this Flea Market is open to all, so invite your friends to come with you. Next, dig that cash out of your sock drawer and just think about that shiny piece of gear you’re going to find at the flea market. Most importantly, be at the Ramada at 5:30pm on November 19th when the doors open for some shopping!

We will post photos of gear for sale on our JPPG Facebook page as soon as we can so you will have an idea what is available. No advance sales.  Just like any flea market, the transaction is exclusively between you and the seller. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

When and Where?

We meet at the Ramada Inn in Mandarin (I-295 and San Jose Blvd). The Flea Market starts at 5:30pm. Social time begins at 6:30pm with announcements and meeting beginning at 7:00pm.
