Hanson will share his master technique on using continuous and natural lighting for his “out of this world” look!
He will be using a special lens, using an aperture of no more than f2.5 to create a new, exciting look for glamorous portraits. Hanson will also be demonstrating how to understand composition and how to find the proper background to create the ideal portrait, anytime, any place, anywhere!
You will also see Hanson using some of his latest tools to get his desired look… continuous light sources, light modifiers and reflectors.
This special evening with Hanson is a FREE, no charge invitation for a time of education entertainment! If you’ve never seen Hanson you’ll see what we mean… he has the special gift of blending laughter with learning! But don’t be surprised to also see his more serious “eye of the tiger” side as well, as he brings out all the emotions of his audience.

Hanson Fong of San Francisco, is globally recognized as one of the premier wedding and portrait photographers in the industry. Hanson regularly shares his techniques that apply to both fine art and classical photography. In his course “Fong Shui, Harmonizing the Fine Art of Posing and Lighting” he demonstrates the Classic 10 Poses that he pioneered, flow posing, body shifting and facial analysis. Complimented with his animated personality, attendees enjoy live shooting demonstrations, hands on posing techniques, as well as large screen projections of present and past work. Hanson has lectured at every major school of photography across America and has been invited to speak at various national and international conventions. Hanson will share with you his perception in creating perfect photographic harmony by demonstrating how to use correct lighting, from natural to hot light to flash lighting. A live demonstration of the Classic 10 poses that Hanson has mastered and pioneered will assist you in posing any person, regardless of weight and/or height. His technique will enable you to pose any family grouping, couple, or bridal couple. In addition to hands on posing, Hanson will discuss lighting techniques. You will learn how to photograph under any lighting condition, indoors or outdoors, any place, anytime. His approach to finding the “light” is simple and uncomplicated. Proper lighting and posing will help you create highly
