August 28th Program – Flea Market, Social Media, Cookies & Cocktails

Photography Gear Flea MarketOur photography gear flea market begins at 6 PM followed by a program on Social Media marketing!

This is a “no charge” meeting. Everyone is invited to attend!
Come just for the flea market or better yet, feel welcome to stay for the entire meeting!

Several Members of our Guild will have tables filled with gear… cameras, lenses, light stands, tripods, reflectors and all sorts of photo gear! We are opening up one of the side rooms to allow for more space to buy and sell your items.

For our Members who have paid for their table, we are posting lists and/or photos of what they will have available. We invite you to visit our Event on Facebook to see listings of what will be available as we receive them! The list will be updated as we get the lists in!

We ask that you do not contact Members for an advance sale. We will be posting what they will have available anonymously.

Facebook and Instagram MarketingWe asked and you answered that you wanted a program on Facebook and Instagram marketing. While the Flea Market and Cookies & Cocktails are a fun part of the evening, the program of the evening will be driven by you, our Members and Guests!

Cookies and Cocktails
A fun part of the evening at our August meeting will be our Cookies & Cocktails items! Some of our members are putting together theme-related items and baskets that will be sure to delight.
You may purchase these items during the Flea Market and whatever Cookie & Cocktails items remain will be auctioned off in a fun auction later in the evening with our very own JPPG Auctioneer!
Donations Accepted! If you would like to donate something for the Cookies & Cocktails part of the evening, please contact Leslie Evans with what you’d like to donate.

When and Where?

We meet at the Ramada Inn in Mandarin (I-295 and San Jose Blvd). The Flea Market begins at 6:00pm, Social time begins at 6:30pm, and announcements and program begins at 7:00pm.

People’s Choice

Members, don’t forget your 8×10-ish entry for People’s Choice. The categories are portrait and landscape. You may enter into one or both! All entries must be submitted by 6:51pm! Can’t make it to the meeting? Send your images with a friend!

November 29th Program – Gina Barca – A {BRAND} New Year

Brand New Year - Gina BarcaMark your calendars and plan on joining us for the last program of 2016. On Tuesday, November 29th, we will be welcoming Gina Barca who will be presenting “A {BRAND} New Year” Branding | Marketing | Social Media.

Please note that our meeting date is one week later than normal due to Thanksgiving. Social time begins at 6:30pm with announcements and meeting beginning at 7:00pm. Members, don’t forget your 8×10 entry for People’s Choice. The themes for November are Landscape/Architecture (Non-Living) and Portrait. You may enter into one or both!

Now, a few words from Gina!

First and foremost, thank you for considering me as a speaker for your event. My name is Gina Barca. I am a creative entrepreneur, photographer and designer.

I founded Barca Designs in 2009 shortly after obtaining my Degree in Graphic Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology. My background in design equipped me with a unique set of skills as a photographer. An innate passion for branding and marketing inspired me to begin helping others not only build and grow their businesses but THRIVE!

“A {BRAND} New Year” evolved from my own journey as a creative entreprenuer, specifically how I recently transformed my brand in just ONE year. Through this process I have developed a system for helping others discover and define their brand in five steps. The program provides fundamentals of branding and marketing as well as how to use social media effectively for business.

Through my involvement with the Professional Photographers of America, Florida Professional Photographers and my local guild the Professional Photographers Guild of Palm Beach.  I have seen exponetial growth as a photographer and business owner. I believe that it is my duty to give back to those organizations and become a larger part of the photographic community. It is very rewarding to be able to give back while I pursue my personal goals of achieving my Florida Service Award and Photographic Craftsman Degree.

I am excited for the opportunity to share “A {BRAND} New Year” with you.
